Checked out the Rosebud tonight to see The Motion Sick, and The Downbeat 5. Both bands played great sets, first time for me seeing The Downbeat 5, enjoyed their sound and Jennifer D'Angora had vocals that I fell in love with. When I first sat down I was expecting to put in my earplugs as soon as the bands began, but the sound was never overwhelming. Nice venue, hope to see more shows here in the future. As for the pics, I'm still learning how to use my flash correctly...

January 6th at Great Scott.

Razormaze, Ashers, and Motherboar.

I arrived late and missed some of the opening acts. When I walked in I was surprised to see the place filled up. I went to see Motherboar, I had heard of Ashers before, but never of Razormaze so it was a nice surprise to see some Thrash on a Wednesday night.

Every act that I got to see killed it. I was happy to finally get to see Motherboar. I cover a lot of shows, and sometimes I skip out on bands, then regret it later. I remember when their very first show was announced, they won a new follower, won't be the last time I see them. I'll cover Razormaze again because I enjoyed their set, plus the feeling that I was back in high school and Metallica was in the cassette player...
